CEDC ULM Collaboration Holds BI Goes To Campus 2023
Banjarmasin – Career and Entrepreneurship Development Center (CEDC) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) in collaboration with Bank Indonesia Regional South Kalimantan held the BI Goes to Campus 2023 event. This event was held in the 1st floor hall of the Banjarmasin ULM Rectorate Building on Monday (14/8/2023) .
This event was attended by ULM students and other tertiary institutions, as well as high school (SMA) students in the Banjarmasin area and its surroundings. The 2023 BI Goes to Campus event with the theme “Together, Giving Meaning, For the Nation” has an agenda for outreach regarding the BI recruitment route which will be opened in the near future.
ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si, was present at this agenda in order to give a keynote speech with the Head of the BI Representative Office Prov. South Kalimantan, Wahyu Pratomo. In his remarks, Prof. Ahmad expressed his appreciation to BI for choosing ULM as the organizing partner for the BI Goes To Campus 2023 activity.
He said, with the implementation of BI Goes To Campus, it is hoped that it can provide insight and open options for students and fresh graduates for careers at Bank Indonesia. As the only bank that exists independently and is regulated by law, Bank Indonesia plays a major role in regulating and maintaining macroeconomic stability in Indonesia. Therefore, BI needs to be supported by excellent, professional, character, integrity and high-capacity human resources.
“Working at BI is a dedication, full of extraordinary challenges in order to create a strong and solid economy so that it can provide welfare to all Indonesian people,” said the Rector in his remarks.
Material related to the flow of BI recruitment was delivered by 3 (three) resource persons including Bank Indonesia DSDM Director Yulian Wihantoro, PCPM 34 BI graduate who is also Tisna Faisal ULM alumni, and PCPM 37 BI graduate Dicky Prayudi.
Education for Candidates for Young Employees (PCPM) is a pathway for BI employee recruitment for undergraduate and postgraduate graduates. Generally there are 2 ways for university graduates to register for PCPM, namely through campus hiring or open recruitment. The campus hiring route can be followed by alumni through the respective Career Development Centers owned by the tertiary institution. While open recruitment is a general route that is announced through the mass media and is open to graduates of any tertiary institution.
