ULM Students Win Achievements in the 2023 Regional Medical Olympiad (RMO).

Solo – ULM students again won national achievements in the Regional Medical Olympiad (RMO) event which took place on 11-13 August 2023, at Sebelas Maret University, Solo. The Regional Medical Olympiad (RMO) is a competition for medical students under the auspices of ISMKI Region 3. RMO 2023 will be held at the Medical Education Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Sebelas Maret University. The following are the names of ULM students who won:

• Muhamad Agung Tsani Asyrofi, Peni and Maryam Kamila won 1st place in Cardiorespiration (heart and respiration).
• Ronald Christian Madika and Muhammad Fathan Kamil Taqiyuddin won 2nd place in the Digestive field.
• Jonathan Davin Anggara and Devina Yulie Fatria won 3rd place in the field of Urorepro (urinary and reproductive tract).
• Siti Feritasia Amellia and Nurul Asmi Mashuri won 3rd place in the field of infectious diseases.
• Salwa Sabrina and Raudha Rizkiafillah became semifinalists in the musculoskeletal (muscle and bone) field.

RMO 2023 consists of 6 Indonesian language competition branches, namely,

• Genitourinary: the field of competition that covers the male and female reproductive systems, both organs and includes anatomy, pathology, clinical, and supporting examinations of reproductive tract organs
• digestive: is a field of competition that covers the entire human digestive system from the upper digestive tract to the lower digestive tract. Digestive includes the basic anatomy and pathology of the digestive system as well as supporting examinations of the digestive organs.
• Cardiorespiratory: the field of competition which includes the respiratory organs and the heart and their relation to the circulatory system. Cardiorespiratory includes anatomy, physiology, pathology anatomy, clinical, and supporting examination of the heart and respiratory organs.
• Musculoskeletal: is a field of competition that includes the system of bones, muscles, joints, and also supporting tissues. Musculoskeletal includes basic anatomy and pathology as well as supporting examination of these tissues from muscle tissue, joints and bones
• Neuropsychiatry: a field that covers the nerves in the human body and its relation to human psychology or psychology).
• Tropical Infection: a field that covers infectious diseases that are common in the tropics such as parasites, bacteria and viruses in the tropics. Tropical infections include parasitology and microbiology
