Improve the Financial Management of the ULM Service Agency

Mendalo – In order to improve the financial management of service agencies, the Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si visited Jambi University (UNJA) on Monday (09/10/2023). This visit was welcomed by UNJA Rector Prof. Drs. H. Sutrisno, M.Sc., Ph.D, Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance Ir. H. Yusrizal, M.Sc., Ph.D.; Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Ir. Teja Kaswari, M.Sc., Chair of LP3M, Dr. Ir. Hj. Sunarti, S.P., M.P., IPU.; and Dean of FKIK, Dr. Dr. Humaryanto, SP.OT., M.Kes.

The Rector of ULM and his entourage are grateful for the kind and warm welcome from the Rector of UNJA and his staff and of course hope that they will gain a lot of new knowledge in order to increase budget revenues and their management. “We will learn as much as possible on this opportunity with Jambi University,” he said.

This visit was carried out considering that since November 2017, UNJA has become a Public Service Agency (BLU) and ULM which is currently carrying out the transition process from a Satker (Work Unit) State University to a PTN. BLU feels the need to study and coordinate with the relevant UNJA Public Service Agency Financial Management. UNJA, which has implemented the Public Service Agency Financial Management Pattern (PPK-BLU) since 2017, certainly has extensive experience and knowledge to share with ULM. Through PPK-BLU, it is hoped that an institution can more easily plan to increase its revenue budget through PNBP. So it can have a good impact, especially performance-based budgeting which will be further strengthened because of the flexibility in managing PNBP.
