BUMN Digital Forum (Fordigi) Goes To Campus City Chapter #5 Banjarmasin Visits ULM Students
Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) had the honor of being the host to hold the FORDIGI Goes to Campus City Chapter #5 Banjarmasin event after previously being held in the cities of Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya and Makassar. The event was held at the Lecture Theater General Building ULM Banjarmasin on Tuesday (22/8/2023).
Carrying the theme “Digital Banks: The Present and The Future”, this event sponsored by Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) was held in a hybrid manner (online and offline) and presented various speakers including the Rector of ULM who also had the opportunity to contribute to sharing knowledge with participant. This FORDIGI event was held in various series, one of which was a Seminar where the resource persons for this activity were brought in from various circles, namely, Muhammad Rizal Kamal as Assistant Deputy for Technology and Information, Beatrix Santi Anugrah, Head of Division 4 Ecosystem Development FORDIGI BUMN, Heri Atmoko as Group Head retail digital delivery PT. BNI, Aries Firdiansyah Department Head Project Manager Retail Business PT. BNI, Eddi Danusaputro, Main Director of BNI Venture Capital, Feb Sumandar – Chairman of sub. FORDIGI field and also serves as director of planning and actuarial PT. Ari Pratiwi believes that the digital transformation era is becoming the era of digital business in the context of efforts to create increasingly developing technological value. This event was held in order to implement a program aimed at strengthening ULM’s ideals and hopes as ULM has been designated as a Digital Campus. According to Prof. Ahmad, the competitiveness of State Universities depends on the use of technology applied. In the current management system of universities or colleges, the basis is digital, all aspects of assessment by various parties including ministries and the international world in the context of evaluating and assessing universities are digital, is based on digital activity.
The Rector believes that digitalization is the momentum for an extraordinary, aggressive business leap that must be accompanied by a control system in higher education. He also did not forget to express his gratitude for the opportunity given to ULM. A golden opportunity for the ULM academic community, especially students who will complete their studies, to serve the nation and state in activities that cannot be separated from the use of technology. Students now get comprehensive information from various sources and of course they are blessed as students.
