KOPMA ULM Won 3rd Place in the 2023 JAMKOPNAS Rapid Precision Contest
The Student Cooperative (KOPMA) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) won 3rd place in the Rapid Precision Test Competition which was held at the 2023 National Student Cooperative Jamboree (JAMKOPNAS) which was held at the University of Lampung (Unila) from 7 to 9 August 2023.
The KOPMA ULM team consisted of Akhsanul Rahmatullah, S.E., M.E., as the supervisor of the competition, Muhammad Haris, class 2019 student as assistant to the delegation team, Hafiz Zaini, class 2020 student as head of the delegation team, M. Syaifullah and Amy Syaroh, class 2021 student as members team.
The Rapid Precision Contest (R-Precision) is one of the fields of competition that is being competed for at JAMKOPNAS 2023. This competition tests participants’ abilities to solve problems and make decisions quickly and accurately in dynamic, modern situations. This competition involves participants’ knowledge and insights related to cooperatives and aims to assess critical thinking skills as well as participants’ understanding and knowledge in the field of cooperatives.
JAMKOPNAS itself is a major student cooperative performance which is held annually under the auspices of the Indonesian Student Cooperative Communication Forum (FKKMI). JAMKOPNAS is held as an effort to train students’ competitive spirit, evaluate student skills, and maintain and improve the existence of student cooperatives in the current era of globalization.
Taking the theme “Empowering Youth Cooperatives for a Better Future”, JAMKOPNAS 2023 seeks to highlight the importance of student cooperatives as a means to assist youth in developing themselves and achieving common goals. Through this activity it is hoped that it can strengthen the role of student cooperatives as a forum for learning, collaborating, and innovating in various fields.
JAMKOPNAS 2023 is filled with various activities including the National Seminar which carries the theme “The Role of Cooperatives and MSMEs in Creating a Green Economy Through Innovation and Collaboration Towards Sustainable Business” which is filled by practitioners in the field of entrepreneurship and cooperatives to spark the entrepreneurial spirit of the participants. JAMKOPNAS 2023 will also hold Focus Group Discussions (FGD), Field Trips, along with competitions that can be participated in by participants from KOPMA throughout Indonesia.
The competitions held at JAMKOPNAS 2023 include the Modern Business Plan competition, Rapid Precision Contest, KOPMA Impact Short Film, Intense Debate Challenge, Dynamic Essay Competition, and Shining Youth.
