CeDC Facilitates Tracer Study Completion for Alumni
Banjarmasin – Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. Muhamad Rusmin Nuryadin, SE., M.Si attended the Socialization and Launching of the ULM Tracer Study 2023 on Friday (21/07/2023) in the Rectorate Hall, floor 1, University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM). The event was attended by the Head of the Career & Entrepreneur Development Center (CEDC) Dr. Irwansyah S.Sos., M.Sc., a faculty representative and study program coordinator.
Dr. Irwansyah in his speech said that it was hoped that through the ULM Tracer Study graduates could be tracked by the University and it was hoped that 60% of graduates would already be working or further studies for alumni. He added that the problem of students/alumni who did not fill out the tracer study was due to the difficulty of accessing the questionnaire given. “CDC has ensured that access to the questionnaire has been made easy and can even be accessed via smartphones (IOS and Android) so it is hoped that this will not be an excuse for skipping filling out the ULM Tracer Study questionnaire.” Said Dr. Irwansyah.
The Vice Rector in his speech saw the importance of Tracer Study activities for ULM and hoped that this year would provide a clearer picture of ULM alumni. According to him, CeDC’s role is not only responsible for Key Performance Indicator (IKU) 1, in the future CeDC will be able to become a forum for students/alumni so that they can easily be accepted into companies or become entrepreneurs after becoming alumni. He targets 20% of graduates to be accepted at companies and how to complete lectures in under 6 months with a salary above the UMR.
