Graduation-112: Encourage Alumni to Continue Their Studies Through Awards.

Banjarbaru – The Senate of the University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) held an open session with the agenda for graduating from the 112th Diploma, Bachelor, Professional, Masters, Specialist and Doctoral programs at the ULM Auditorium Banjarbaru, Tuesday (18/7/2023). A total of 1,300 graduates were confirmed at the 112th ULM graduation. Based on the Chancellor’s Decree Number 1291/UN8/SP/2023, details of the 112th ULM graduation participants consisted of 10 Diploma program graduates, 1,144 Bachelor program graduates, 47 Professional Education programs, 88 Masters programs, 10 Specialist programs, and Doctoral program 1 person.

The following are the best graduates of the 111th ULM graduation:

• Yurizka Maulida Andini, Amd.Pjk. graduate of the D3 Taxation study program, Faculty of Economics and Business with a GPA of 3.46
• Rahmat Saifuddin Anwar, S.Pd. graduate of the Physics Education study program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education with a GPA of 3.94
• Aziza Dwi Ristica, S.H. graduate of the Law Science study program at the Faculty of Law with a GPA of 3.92
• Nur Aida, S.E. graduate of the Development Economics study program, Faculty of Economics and Business with a GPA of 3.95
• Rosa Pebriandini, S.I.P., graduate of the Government Science study program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences with a GPA of 3.93
• Noor Oktafia Ningsih, S.Pi., graduate of the Fisheries Product Technology study program, Faculty of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs with a GPA of 3.83
• Nur Anisah, S.P., graduate of the Agribusiness study program at the Faculty of Agriculture with a GPA of 3.89
• Muhammad Aldy Rahmat, S.Hut., graduate of the Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Forestry 3.91
• Muhammad Halim, S.Ars., graduate of the Engineering Faculty Architecture study program with a GPA of 3.79
• Amelia, S.K.M., graduated from the Public Health study program at the Faculty of Medicine with a GPA of 3.96
• Rama Agni Gutawa, S.Farm., graduate of the Pharmacy study program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with a GPA of 3.94
• Siti Hairiyani, M.Pi., graduate of the Fisheries Science Masters program with a GPA of 4.00
• Muhammad Khairul Fikri, Ns., graduate of the Professional Nurse Education study program with a GPA of 4.00

At the 112th graduation, ULM graduated 10 graduates from the Specialist program consisting of 3 graduates from Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialists, 5 graduates from Internal Medicine Specialists, and 2 graduates from Pulmonology Specialists.

ULM Rector Prof. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si, in his remarks, congratulated the graduates and parents who were present. On this occasion he also announced the latest policy that had been issued through the Rector’s Decree regarding the awards given by ULM to the best graduates of ULM.

In this policy, the Rector made an offer in the form of a tuition dispensation for graduates who wish to continue their studies to strata 2 or master studies. This policy is contained in the ULM Rector’s Decree Number 526/UN8/KU/2023 concerning Granting Relief for Education Development Contributions for Outstanding Employees and Alumni who Continue to Study at ULM.

For graduates of the best graduates 1, 2, and 3 of the undergraduate study programs who continue their master studies at ULM, a 100% tuition reduction is given in semester 1, and a reduction of 50% in semesters 2 to semester 4. There is also a reduction in tuition fees for undergraduate program graduates with satisfactory and very satisfactory predicates who continue master studies by 50% in semester 1 and by 30% in semester 2 to semester 4.

The Rector of ULM said that the implementation of this policy was in order to encourage students to improve quality and interest in learning, encourage students’ interest to graduate on time and continue their studies. “We hope that this policy can increase IKU achievements, one of the targets is to increase the number of new alumni who will immediately continue their education at strata 2. Apart from that, it is also to provide support to the government in preparing superior human resources towards 2045,” said the Rector.
