Lambung Mangkurat University Promotes Independent Entrepreneurship in 2023, D3 to S3 Students Can Register

Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held a Socialization of the Independent Entrepreneurship 2023 on Wednesday (5/7/2023). The socialization was held in the Senate Meeting Room on the 3rd floor of the Banjarmasin ULM Rectorate Building. This socialization was attended by the Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. Rusmin Muhammad Rusmin Nuryadin, S.E., M.Sc., and attended by students and faculty representatives at ULM. Independent Entrepreneurship (WMK) 2023 takes the theme “Sustainable Digital Entrepreneurship as the Implementation of Independent Entrepreneurs at the Gates of the National Capital (IKN)”.

This year is the second time the Independent Entrepreneurship program has been held as an implementation of the Independent Learning-Independent Campus (MBKM) program initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. This year is also the second year that ULM has been selected as the university implementing the WMK program.

The following is general information regarding the implementation of the Independent Entrepreneur program:

Participant Requirements:

• Students / I are active and enrolled in undergraduate or vocational colleges
• At least in semester 3 for D3, D4, S1. For S2 and S3 are not limited by semester
• Minimum GPA of 2.0
• Letter of recommendation from the home university
• Statement letter for prospective WMK participants
• Letter of permission from parents/guardians of prospective WMK participants
• Willing to join the program full time
• Willing to comply with applicable regulations

For students who are interested in participating in the WMK program, it is necessary to record the following important dates:

Participant registration: June 26 – July 10

Pre Immerson (Informant Lecture): August 31 – October 14

(Intern/Visiting) : October 16 – November 18

Post Immerson (Bootcamp) : Nov. 20 – Dec. 9

Competency Examination/BNSP : 11 Des – 15 Des

Expo/Business Matching : 16 Dec

Through the WMK program, it is hoped that tertiary institutions will be able to support the government’s vision and mission in realizing national independence through job creation and empowering SMEs. Entrepreneurship education and training will later include entrepreneurial spirit training, organizational training, HR management, technology introduction training, marketing training, packaging training, business plans, legality and licensing training as well as business consulting. Later WMK participants will also receive mentoring by experts and business assistants in the areas of mentoring, surveys and products.
