FKG ULM Welcomes Unmul Benchmarking Visit, Efforts to Improve Management of Dentistry Study Programs.

Banjarmasin – The Faculty of Dentistry, University of Lambung Mangkurat (FKG ULM) welcomed the arrival of a team from the Dentistry and Dentistry Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Mulawarman University on Tuesday (30/5/2023) to conduct a comparative study at the Faculty of Dentistry ULM Banjarmasin.

Comparative studies by Unmul were not only carried out to the ULM FKG but also to the Gusti Hasan Aman Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM) in an effort to improve the institutional management of Dentistry study programs and the Dentistry Profession owned by Unmul.

Dean of FKG ULM, Dr. drg. Maharani Laillyza Apriasari, Sp.PM., received this visit directly accompanied by the Director of RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman, drg. Teguh Hadianto, Sp.KG., Vice  Dean drg. Irham Taufiqurrahman Sp. BM. and the ranks of FKG ULM. Meanwhile, the delegation from Mulawarman University consisted of 12 people led by drg. Verry Asfirizal, M.Kes as the head of the comparative study team. Vice Dean for General Affairs, Finance and HR Unmul, Dr. dr. Rahmat Bakhtiar, MPPM also accompanied the comparative study group.

The comparative study agenda began with presentations from FKG ULM and RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman regarding the strategy for establishing the Faculty of Dentistry and how RSGM became a vehicle for dental professional education. On this agenda Unmul, ULM, and RSGM also discussed the potential for collaboration in the field of research and community service.

Furthermore, ULM invited Unmul to conduct a comparative study by going around the ULM RSGM and FKG buildings to learn about facilities, infrastructure, and management.
