IBFL Scholarship Program Enters Batch 4, Evidence of ULM and Adaro’s Commitment to Improve Human Resources

Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) together with the Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN) held an event to celebrate the graduation of ULM students who received IBFL Batch 2 scholarships on Tuesday (19/9/2023). This event was held at the Lecture Theater, Faculty of Economics and Business, ULM Banjarmasin, as well as a welcoming event for ULM students who received IBFL Batch 4 scholarships.
ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Si., was present in person with the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and ULM Alumni, Dr. Muhammad Rusmin Nuryadin, SE., M.Sc., and Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc. Meanwhile, from PT Adaro, the Chair of the YABN Supervisory Board, Mohammad Effendi, and the General Chair of YABN, Okty Damayanti, were present.
IBFL or Indonesian Bright Future Leader is a financing assistance and student development program which is an implementation of ULM’s collaboration with PT Adaro Indonesia. This program has been running since 2018 and has now entered batch 4 with a total of 402 ULM students who have been funded to graduate.
In Batch 4, 100 students were selected as IBFL scholarship recipients and will be funded until they graduate. ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., expressed his high appreciation to YABN and PT Adaro for being ULM’s strategic partners in building civilization and improving the quality of human resources needed by the Indonesian nation.
Not to forget, the ULM Rector also advised the students who were selected as IBFL scholarship recipients to make the best use of this opportunity. “Make the best use of this opportunity so that you can achieve the goals you have dreamed of all this time,” said the Rector.
This event was then continued with the symbolic handover of compassion to strengthen cooperation between PT Adaro Indonesia, represented by Mohammad Effendi as Chair of the YABN Supervisory Board, Mohammad Effendi, and Lambung Mangkurat University, represented by ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Sc.
