Preparing an Integrated System at ULM, SPI Conducts a Workshop with BPKP of South Kalimantan Province
Banjarmasin – Rector of the University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si opened the Workshop “Efforts to Implement an Integrated Government Internal Control System at ULM” which was organized by the ULM Internal Supervisory Unit in collaboration with BPKP Prov. South Kalimantan on Thursday (20/07/2023)
This activity was carried out in the Hall of the 1st Floor of the Rectorate and was attended by the Vice Rector  of ULM, the Dean and Deputy Dean, and all other leaders in Universiats and Faculties. This activity also presented Abror Umar who is an Associate Auditor, Coordinator of Supervision of Government Agencies as a guest speaker.
The Rector of ULM gave the highest appreciation to the speakers and all University and Faculty leaders who were present at this activity. In his remarks he believed that the workshop was one of the efforts in realizing Good Governance as a strategic part and very important to provide assurance that what was done in the context of serving the nation and the nation through ULM was in accordance with the applicable Operational Standards.
The Rector considers that in the era of openness of all kinds of information and also transparency has become something that is needed by all agencies. Even transparency is an obligation for an agency to be carried out in accordance with regulations. This is a very important part of supporting implementation and continuing to ensure how the implementation process and the entire process of utilizing state finances spent by ULM can be administratively accountable. Therefore, the need for an integrated system that can support the implementation of the process.
In addition, an integrated system is one of the requirements for universities to fulfill the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) as performance achievements. Henceforth all measurement tools and information systems should be integrated with SIMARI and the central system which is currently still an unfinished task. Given the importance of the workshop agenda this time, the Rector hopes that this event can be one of the lessons on how to start an integrated government internal control system within the ULM environment.
