ULM Holds a Workshop on Preparation Guidelines for Preparation of SIMKATMAWA Documents

Banjarmasin – University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) held a Workshop on Guide Review and Preparation for the 2023 SIMKATMAWA Document Compilation on Thursday (6/4/2023) in the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the Banjarmasin ULM Rectorate Building. The event was attended by ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Sc., Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. Rusmin Nuryadin, SE., M.Sc., and the entire ranks of Vice Dean III of the Faculty at ULM.

The purpose of holding this workshop is to convey back the guidelines for preparing the necessary documents to each faculty leader in order to provide direction and make policies for implementing student activities within ULM. Reflecting on ULM’s achievement in the previous year as being ranked 21st in the SIMKATMAWA ranking, the Rector of ULM expressed his hope that ULM could reach the top 10 nationally this year. “Don’t let it stagnate at 21st place let alone drop it,” he said.

To achieve this target, the Rector advised all leaders starting from the Vice Rector, Head of Student Affairs Bureau, to the ranks of Vice Deans for Student Affairs at ULM, to continue to synergize as well as possible and be more intensive in order to give the best results for the development of student activities at ULM. “We can design together, make the best plans for what and how student programs are implemented,” said the Rector.

SIMKATMAWA or Student Ranking Management Information System is a ranking system that aims to encourage the improvement of the quality of institutions which will also be directly proportional to the improvement in the quality of graduates. SIMKATMAWA can encourage Higher Education to carry out and report on student activities.
