The Rector again explains the strategy towards becoming a World Class University (WCU)

Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) is again holding socialization regarding university development targets based on World Class University (WCU) indicators. This second socialization invited and was attended by all leadership elements in the Rectorate, Faculties and UPA, namely the Vice Rector, Head of UPA, Head of Bureau, BLU Secretariat and all Heads of Divisions, Coordinators and sub-coordinators which was held on Wednesday, January 24 2024, at 13.30 WITA in the Meeting Room Senate 3rd floor.

ULM Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si, in explaining the strategies and plans that need to be prepared for the QS World University Rankings. In this socialization material, he explains several things that are assessment indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, student ratio in the Faculty, citations per Faculty, international faculty ratio, international student ratio, international research network, job outcomes, systems and technology , and sustainability.

The Rector also emphasized important points in realizing ULM can meet these assessment indicators, such as the importance of leadership commitment, determining shared direction and goals as well as implementation corridors, mobilizing all components of the University with a conducive climate and resources, as well as Pride and a Sense of Belonging towards ULM.

With this outreach, it is hoped that all university components can understand and support ULM’s achievement of becoming a World Class University. The Chancellor will also convey this material again to all heads of study programs in the future.
