ULM Ranked 38th in the 2022 4ICU Ranking
ULM’s ranking for 2022 based on the 4ICU assessment rose significantly to rank 38 from the previous year which was in the 60s. The 4ICU version of the university ranking is based on an algorithmic system of five websites that are considered neutral and independent, namely Moz Domain Authority, Alexa Global Rank, SimilarWeb Global Rank, Majestic Reffering Domains, and Majestic Trust Flow. uniRank 4ICU assesses tertiary institutions that have criteria that have been accredited by official organizations, carry out undergraduate and postgraduate learning, and have face-to-face and distance learning programs. ULM Ranked 37th in the 2022 SiR Ranking
The assessment version of the Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR) is conducted annually from the results obtained over a five-year period ending two years prior to the rating issue. The SIR provides overall statistics of scientific publications and other institutional output. Each indicator is calculated from a combination of different indicators. The three main indicators used are research performance at 50 percent, innovation results at 30 percent, and social impact as measured by the visibility of the university’s website at 20 percent. ULM Ranked 46th in Webometrics Ranking Semester 2
The Webometrics Ranking of World Universities is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a group of the largest public research bodies in Spain. This institution ranks universities on the basis of an assessment from a university’s website. Campus rankings will be published twice a year, namely in January and July. ULM’s ranking in semester 2 has decreased from its previous position of 41st in semester 1 of 2022, but from 2020 ULM’s ranking continues to experience a positive trend where in 2020 it is ranked 170th (Semester 1) and 64th (Semester 2) and in 2021 ranked 61st (Semester 1) and 68th (Semester 2)
The Webometrics ranking aims to encourage open access to scientific work and academic materials in universities. Therefore, Webometrics emphasizes external networks and the number of citations of scientific papers in the process of ranking the world’s best universities. The Webometrics 2022 ranking uses a visibility indicator of 50 percent, transparency or openness weighs 10 percent, and scientific papers weigh 40 percent which is calculated from the number of scientific publications among the Top 10% of scientific works most cited from 27 disciplines during 2016-2020.
