At ULM’s 114th graduation ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri SE MSi, announced that ULM had been selected as one of the priority candidates for Legal Entity State Universities (PTN-BH) by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek). This good news was delivered in front of 1,300 graduates from various study programs, including Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, Specialist and Doctoral degrees as well as guests.
Prof. Ahmad revealed that this decision was based on a coordination meeting between PTN rectors throughout Indonesia and the Ministry of Education and Culture. The ULM score of 343.06, exceeding the minimum limit of 300, further increases the chances of becoming a PTN-BH. However, he emphasized that the opportunity will ultimately be determined by the Ministry, which may have its own plans for advancing PTN-BH.
On this occasion, ULM inaugurated 1,300 graduates from various levels of education, consisting of Diploma, Bachelor, Professional Education, Masters, Specialist and Doctoral Programs. Prof. Ahmad hopes that alumni who graduate from ULM will achieve success in their careers and be able to achieve high achievements after completing their education at the ULM campus. He also mentioned that the average study period for graduates is getting shorter, with the highest GPA reaching 4.00. The ULM campus continues to improve the quality of its education, which is reflected in the short average job waiting period for alumni, namely less than three months, of more than 43 percent.
