ULM Supports the Green Revolution Program Through Clean Friday Activities
Banjarmasin, Clean Friday activities were held at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM). This activity was led directly by Vice Rector IV for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations on Friday, (16/06/2023). Accompanying him, the Director of Postgraduate Prof. H. Ahmad Suriansyah, M.Pd and also attended by Rector staff and ULM students who gathered together in the ULM Open Space.
Vice Rector IV, Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc., stated that this activity was a program initiated by the Rector of ULM, namely the Clean Friday Program in order to support the local government program, namely the green revolution “God willing, every Friday we will carry out a cleaning program and at the same time plant green trees around the ULM Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru environment,” said Vice Rector IV. Thus, he hopes that through this activity he can help reduce global warming in order to make the air on campus fresher and create a calmer campus atmosphere.
Because this clean Friday activity was also accompanied by tree planting, the participants who attended were also encouraged to bring adequate equipment for the implementation of this activity. One of the trees planted is ketapang kencana.
This activity took place very orderly. All employees and students actively work together to clean up the ULM environment.
