Encouraging Human Resources and Economy Quality Improvement, ULM Signs MoU with South Kalimantan BPKP
Banjar Regency – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) Representative for South Kalimantan Province on Friday (26/5/2023) at Bukit Suharto Tahura Sultan Adam, Banjar Regency.
The MoU was signed directly by ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., and Head of BPKP Representative for South Kalimantan Province, Rudy M. Harahap in a series of activities to commemorate the 40th anniversary of BPKP. Through the MoU with BPKP of South Kalimantan Province, ULM aims to strengthen its governance as a state university in South Kalimantan.
The scope of the MoU between ULM and BPKP includes:
- Provision of assurance and/or consulting services related to internal control, Public Service Agency governance and risk management in supporting the realization of Good Agency Governance (GAG) at Lambung Mangkurat University;
- Provision of assurance and/or consulting services related to Fraud Control Plan (FCP) and Coaching Clinic Investigation Supervision (CCPBI) for the Internal Oversight Unit (SPI);
- Accelerating the completion of the follow-up of the results of supervision;
- Increasing the competence of the Internal Control Unit (SPI) at Lambung Mangkurat University; And
- Other assignments mutually agreed upon.
In addition, the collaboration between ULM and BPKP is also related to collaborative efforts in order to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in South Kalimantan. This was conveyed by the Rector of ULM Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si, in his speech. “ULM certainly welcomes the expectations of the government of the Republic of Indonesia, in which ULM as a PTN plays a role in improving the quality of human resources and national and international competitiveness in order to improve South Kalimantan’s economic performance,” said the Rector.
On this occasion, the Rector introduced the Business Incubator owned by ULM. Through its business incubator, ULM can strengthen, benefit, and encourage the economy and local products so that it can build stronger synergies with the South Kalimantan regional government to realize strengthening and increasing the industrial index in South Kalimantan.
