ULM Scores Double Achievement at KMI Expo 2025: 3rd Runner-Up & Best Costume
Magelang – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) once again achieved success at the 16th Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship (KMI) Expo 2025, held at Tidar University (Untidar), Magelang, Central Java.
In the competition, which attracted approximately 1,200 students from 270 universities across Indonesia, one of ULM’s teams, Hyperfit, took home the 3rd Runner-Up award, solidifying ULM students’ contributions to innovation and entrepreneurship development.
ULM’s achievements extend beyond the entrepreneurship competition. ULM’s Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Muhammad Rusmin Nuryadin, S.E., M.Si., brought honor to the university by winning the Best Costume award in the Traditional Clothing category at the 2025 KMI Expo Cultural Parade Festival.
He appeared wearing unique and meaningful South Kalimantan Dayak traditional attire. According to him, his participation aimed not only to enliven the festival but also to introduce the public to the diversity, rich values, and importance of Dayak culture in Kalimantan, which deserves greater recognition at the national level.
The Cultural Parade, held on Wednesday (November 20, 2025), was part of the opening series of the 2025 KMI Expo, themed “Local Intentions, National Power.” The event featured cultural parades from various regions in Indonesia, showcasing student creativity while reinforcing the importance of preserving local identity in boosting national competitiveness.
ULM’s achievements at the 2025 KMI Expo demonstrate the university’s commitment to developing student potential, both in the areas of entrepreneurship and cultural preservation. This success is expected to further motivate ULM students to continue to work, innovate, and bring the name of the region to the national stage with pride.
