ULM Conducts Comprehensive Evaluation of the Kotabaru PSDKU to Strengthen Educational Quality and Regional Partnerships
Kotabaru – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) coordinated and evaluated the implementation of the Kotabaru Off-Campus Study Program (PSDKU) on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. This activity was led by the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems at ULM, demonstrating the university’s commitment to ensuring the quality of education in the region.
The evaluation focused on four main agendas: academic and non-academic implementation, program development plans and regional collaboration, discussions on strategic issues, and developing follow-up actions to strengthen the sustainability of the ULM PSDKU in Kotabaru.
Currently, the implementation of the ULM PSDKU in Kotabaru has been running smoothly. The first class of students has entered the end of the first semester, with a total of 50 students spread across three study programs: Aquaculture, Agribusiness, and Special Education. The ULM team assessed that the academic process is proceeding according to plan and continues to be strengthened through lecturer mentoring and the provision of facilities to support learning.
In terms of student affairs, PSDKU students actively participate in various activities organized by the Kotabaru Regional Government and local universities. In addition to on-campus activities, students also participate in field internships, guided directly by lecturers. ULM encourages continued synergy between the Student Development Office and the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office to expand programs involving PSDKU students in the future.
Through this coordination and evaluation, ULM affirms its commitment to providing quality educational services in Kotabaru and expanding the impact of PSDKU on regional development. Strengthening academic performance, increasing student contributions, and developing regional collaboration plans are ULM’s focus in ensuring that PSDKU Kotabaru continues to grow as an integral part of expanding access to higher education in South Kalimantan.
