Rector Attends IKA ULM Coordination, Supports Alumni to Work
Banjarmasin – Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., attended the Gathering and Coordination of the ULM Alumni Association (IKA). The agenda was held on Tuesday (11/26/2024) in the Hall of the ULM Postgraduate Building.
The gathering and coordination agenda was the preparation of a work program that will be implemented by the IKA ULM management for the 2024-2025 period. The Daily Chair of IKA, Dr. Ir. Muhammad Fauzi, MP in his remarks said that basically the IKA ULM work program aims to help the community and synergize to provide positive value for ULM.
“With our large number of alumni, it is not impossible that we can produce works that can provide benefits for ULM,” said Dr. Fauzi.
Prof. Ahmad as the Rector of ULM gave his appreciation for this activity. He hopes that in the future there will be more ULM alumni who work and excel in their respective fields so that they can make ULM proud in the national arena.
“Alumni are a valuable asset for ULM, one of the alumni of the Faculty of Forestry for example, now serves as the Minister of Environment,” said Prof. Ahmad.
The Rector hopes that in the future IKA ULM can be formed into a regional or area management so that alumni spread across each Regency in South Kalimantan, even outside Kalimantan, can also gather.
