Bureau of Cooperation and Public Relations of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Evaluation of the Management of Foreign Student Services at ULM
Banjarmasin, Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) received a visit from Aryo Kapela and Ali Hasanudin from the Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The purpose of this visit is to update data and evaluate service management related to study permit recommendations for foreign students/foreign students/foreign students studying at foundations/educational institutions/schools in Indonesia. Apart from that, this visit also aims to identify problems and challenges faced by stakeholders related to the procedures for applying for study permits for foreign students/foreign students to the relevant ministries/institutions.
Vice Rector for Cooperation, Public Relations and Information Systems Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc appreciated this visit in line with the increasing importance of services related to foreign students with the publication of the latest regulations regarding immigration. Therefore, Dr. Azis invited all internal stakeholders at faculty and university level to participate in this activity. This activity will be held from 15 to 16 February 2024 in WR 2 Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, ULM Rectorate.
ULM has demonstrated its commitment to building strong international collaborations with various educational institutions throughout the world. One of the important collaborations that has been established is with the Indonesian School of Davao (SID) and several universities in the Philippines. Collaboration with SID has enabled children from Davao, Philippines, to continue their studies at ULM.
Apart from collaborating with SID, ULM has also collaborated with the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) in the Philippines. This collaboration includes various programs such as student and lecturer exchanges, research collaborations, dual degree programs, short-term course programs, cultural immersion, and resource sharing.
With this international collaboration, ULM shows its commitment to continue to innovate and adapt in the ever-changing world of education. This is proof of ULM’s dedication to providing the best education for its students and contributing to the progress of education in Indonesia and abroad.
