The Rector Inaugurates the Vice Deans of Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences and Takes the Oath of 191 Functional Lecturers and Educators
Banjarbaru, Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) carried out the inauguration and handover of the positions of Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Forestry, and Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences for the period 2024 – 2028 as well as taking the oath of functional positions as Lecturer at expert assistant level, Lector, Head Lector, functional positions Education Laboratory Institution, Human Resources Analysis functional position at Lambung Mangkurat University which took place at the ULM Auditorium, Tuesday (30/01/2024).
The new Vice Dean was appointed directly by the Rector of ULM Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Sc. Also present were the Vice Rector, Dean, Vice Dean, Head of Bureau and ULM academic community. The following are the Vice Deans who were honorably dismissed and appointed for the 2024-2028 period:

In his speech, the Rector expressed his appreciation to the Vice Dean and also hoped that the new Vice Dean could continue the achievements that had been achieved. He also reminded and encouraged several achievement targets for the new Vice Dean, including:
Increase the number of study programs accredited A/Excellent, which is currently still 30 percent.
Increase the number of internationally accredited study programs from 6 study programs with a target of 30 percent of internationally accredited study programs by the end of the period.
Encouraging the promotion of functional lecturer positions, 170 Head Lectors are expected to be promoted to professors, 300 Lectors to become Head Lectors and Expert Assistants to become Lectors.
Apart from that, the Rector also has hopes for the 191 lecturers who took their functional oath of office today. “ULM is our common home, if ULM is good then we will also be proud,” concluded the Rector.
