Salwa Sabrina, Raudha Rizkiafillah, and Chedira Clairine Achieve International Achievements

Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) students have once again achieved achievements at the international level. This achievement was achieved in the 2024 Siriraj International Medical Microbiology, Parasitology, and Immunology Competition (SIMPIC). Salwa Sabrina, one of the ULM Faculty of Medicine (FK) students, managed to win an individual bronze medal in this competition. This achievement shows the progress of FK ULM students in competitions participated in by well-known campuses, both nationally and internationally. Apart from that, ULM Team 1 consisting of Salwa Sabrina, Raudha Rizkiafillah, and Chedira Clairine also received the Honorable Mentions award. This award is given to the team that has demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skills in this competition.

Siriraj International Medical Microbiology, Parasitology, and Immunology Competition (SIMPIC) 2024 is a prestigious competition held by Mahidol University, Thailand. This competition is a scientific competition related to knowledge of infections, microbiology, immunology and parasitology. In this competition, students from all over the world have the opportunity to demonstrate their medical knowledge, as well as build relationships within the scientific community and international friendships.
