Belmawa Dikti Announces Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa) Recipients, Four ULM Subproposals Successful

The Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Technology, through the Directorate General of Belmawa, announced the recipients of the 2025 Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa) in early July.

Four subproposals from Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) received funding for the 2025 Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa).

1. Title: “Greenlish Tourism: Revitalizing Sungai Bilu Green Village as an English Village Based on Village Tourism Potential” from the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (BEM FKIK) ULM

This year, the Student Organizations Leadership Committee (PPK Ormawa) carries the theme “Smart Student Service for a Golden Indonesia.” Participants in the PPK Ormawa program can choose from 13 topics, including Tourism Village/Sub-district, Smart Farming, Women’s School, Farmer’s Studio, Toga Village, Healthy Village, Smart Village, Climate Village, Maritime Village, Forest Village, Cultural Village, Tourism Village, and Free Topic.

Teams selected to receive PPK Ormawa funding are scheduled to implement the program from July to early November, with the relevant universities also required to provide independent mentoring to the participating students.

Through the PPK Ormawa program, the Ministry of Education and Culture aims to increase students’ organizational capacity while developing their hard and soft skills through community empowerment programs aimed at improving the progress of their respective villages.

Students, as the driving force behind the program, are expected to contribute to planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as ensuring program sustainability through a structured follow-up plan.
