Anugerah Diktisaintek 2024: Appreciation for Higher Education Transformation
Jakarta — The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) once again held the annual Anugerah Diktisaintek 2024 event on Friday, (13/12/2024), at Graha Diktisaintek, Jakarta. This event is a form of appreciation to various stakeholders for their extraordinary contributions in supporting the transformation of higher education in Indonesia.
The awards were given to universities, Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti), partners from the business world and industry, ministries/institutions, media, and journalists. The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro, in his remarks, appreciated the award recipients while emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the government, universities, and the private sector in building an inclusive and competitive higher education ecosystem.
“Higher education in science and technology is an important foundation for producing superior generations who are able to answer the challenges of the times. With this award, we hope to continue to encourage innovation that provides real benefits to society,” said Satryo.
This event carries eleven subcategories of awards, including the National Priority Award; Diktisaintek Supporting Partner Award; Learning and Student Award; Resource Award; Institutional Award; Research, Technology, and Community Service Award; Cooperation Award; Public Relations Award; Journalist Award; Higher Education Database Award; and Integrity Zone Award. A total of 315 awards were given to the winners after going through a strict selection and judging process.
Meanwhile, Acting. Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Technology, Togar Simatupang, explained that the change in the ministry’s nomenclature from Diktiristek to Diktisaintek marked a strengthening of commitment to developing higher education based on science and technology.
“Through this award, we hope that all parties will be increasingly motivated to make a real contribution to building a sustainable higher education, research, and innovation ecosystem,” explained Togar.
The 2024 Diktisaintek Award is not only a form of appreciation, but also a catalyst to strengthen collaboration between parties. With the synergy that continues to be established, the higher education ecosystem is expected to be able to provide a real impact on national development, including creating innovations that are relevant to the needs of society.
Through this event, Kemdiktisaintek shows its commitment to encouraging the transformation of higher education in Indonesia in order to produce superior generations who are ready to compete at the global level.
