FISIP ULM Business Administration Students Win Two Best Prototype Awards in the 2024 Independent Entrepreneurship Program
Banjarmasin – Students of the Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) have once again made the campus proud by winning two awards for the best prototype products in the 2024 Independent Entrepreneurship Program (WMK). This award was presented by the Head of the ULM WMK Program Implementation Team, Dr. Totok Wianto, S.Si., M.Si., during an expo activity at the ULM Banjarbaru Auditorium.
The awards were given to two student business groups, namely Widi.id, a digital entrepreneurship learning guidance platform, and Saku.id, a service that provides student needs. Both are considered successful in presenting innovations and solutions that are relevant to the business world.
Noor Hidayati, S.Sos., M.AB., Secretary of the Business Administration Study Program, expressed her pride in the students’ achievements. “We know that their efforts and hard work to achieve this are enormous. This achievement is proof that they are able to compete at a high level,” said Noor.
The 2024 ULM WMK program was attended by other universities such as Paris Barantai University, Balikpapan University, Kalimantan Islamic University (Uniska), and other campuses. A total of 17 ULM Business Administration students were involved in this program under the guidance of lecturers, including Noor Hidayati and Novia Nour Halisa, S.Si., M.Si.
Noor Hidayati reminded students not to be satisfied quickly. “This achievement is the beginning. Make this experience a motivation to continue learning, developing, and never giving up,” she said.
She also gave support to other students who had not received awards. “For those who have not succeeded, the learning process that has been undertaken is valuable capital. Entrepreneurship is indeed full of challenges, but opportunities for success are open to those who dare to try and learn from experience,” she added.
Furthermore, Noor Hidayati hopes that students can be consistent and committed in developing their businesses. “The young generation must be creative, innovative, and committed to becoming successful entrepreneurs. We believe they have great potential to become leaders in the business world,” she said.
This achievement is real proof that ULM students are able to compete and innovate in the field of entrepreneurship. This achievement is expected to be an inspiration for other young generations to continue to develop their potential and contribute to the business world.
