The First Graduation of Students Receiving the ADik Disability Scholarship Was Also Witnessed by the South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief

Banjarbaru – The Senate of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held an open session with the agenda for the graduation of the 115th Diploma, Bachelor’s, Professional, Master’s, Specialist and Doctoral program graduates at the ULM Banjarbaru Auditorium, Tuesday (28/11/2023). A total of 1,300 graduates were inaugurated at the 115th ULM graduation ceremony. This graduation ceremony was attended by the South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General. Pol. Andi Rian Ryacudu Djajadi, SIK., M.H., South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor, represented by Expert Staff for Social Affairs and Human Resources Husnul Khotimah, and other invited guests.

Based on the Rector’s Decree Number 1870/UN8/SP/2023, the details of the 115th ULM graduation participants consisted of 19 graduates from the Diploma program, 1,022 people from the Bachelor program, 107 people from the Professional Education program, 144 people from the Master’s program, and 8 people from the Specialist program. . Of the 1300 graduates, three students from the Special Education Study Program received the Disability Higher Education Affirmation Scholarship (ADik), namely Nadya Milenia, S.Pd., Hidayah, S.Pd and Syam Rizki, S.Pd and were the first graduates of the ADik Disability scholarship. ULM.

The following are the best graduates at the 115th ULM graduation:

  1. Muhammad Thoriq Ramadhani, Amd. Pjk. graduate of the D3 Taxation study program, Faculty of Economics and Business with a GPA of 3.84
  2. Sari Wahdati, S.Pd. graduate of the Early Childhood Education study program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education with a GPA of 3.94
  3. Nabila Nathanela Nazar, S.H. graduate of the Law Faculty of Law study program with a GPA of 3.89
  4. Miftahul Jannah, S.E. graduate of the Development Economics study program, Faculty of Economics and Business, with a GPA of 3.86
  5. Intan Savila Jahra, S.A.P., graduate of the Public Administration study program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences with a GPA of 3.83
  6. Pasha Salma Agnina, S.Pi., graduate of the Fisheries Product Technology study program, Faculty of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs with a GPA of 3.78
  7. Eka Susanti, S.P., graduate of the Agroecotechnology study program, Faculty of Agriculture, with a GPA of 3.78
  8. Maimunah, S.Hut., graduate of the Forestry study program, Faculty of Forestry, with a GPA of 3.81
  9. Nathania Khotidjah, S.T., graduated from the Environmental Engineering study program, Faculty of Engineering, with a GPA of 3.70
  10. Eka Noor Febriyanti, S.Sc., graduated from the Biology study program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with a GPA of 3.81
  11. Anissa, Ns., graduate of the Nurse Professional Education study program with a GPA of 4.00
  12. Aida Hastuti, Sp.PD graduated from the Internal Medicine Specialist Education study program with a GPA of 3.83
  13. Fitriatun Nisa, S.Si., M.Ling., graduate of the Master of Natural Resources and Environmental Management program with a GPA of 4.00

At this 115th graduation ceremony, ULM graduated 8 Specialist program doctor graduates consisting of 3 Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist graduates and 5 Internal Medicine Specialist graduates.

ULM Rector Prof. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si in his speech congratulated the graduates and parents who were present. On this occasion he also announced the latest policy that had been issued through the Chancellor’s Decree regarding the awards or rewards given by ULM to the best ULM graduates.

In this policy, the Rector offers an offer in the form of tuition fee dispensation for graduates who wish to continue their studies to graduate studies or master’s studies. This policy is stated in the ULM Rector’s Decree Number 526/UN8/KU/2023 concerning Providing Relief for Educational Development Contributions for Outstanding Employees and Alumni Who Continuing their Studies at ULM.

For graduates of the best 1st, 2nd and 3rd undergraduate study programs who continue their master’s studies at ULM, they are given a 100% tuition reduction in semester 1, and a 50% reduction in semesters 2 to 4. There is also a reduction in tuition fees for graduates of undergraduate programs with satisfactory and very satisfactory predicates who continued their master’s studies by 50% in semester 1 and by 30% in semester 2 to semester 4.

The Rector of ULM said that the implementation of this policy was in order to encourage students to improve their quality and interest in learning, to encourage students’ interest in graduating on time and continuing their studies. “We hope that this policy can increase IKU’s achievements, one of the targets is to increase the number of new alumni who immediately continue their education at strata 2. Apart from that, it is also to provide support to the government in preparing superior human resources towards 2045,” said the Rector.

Regarding new student registration not yet open, the Rector said that graduates can take advantage of this policy when new student registration opens for the 2024/2025 academic year.
