ULM Team Wins Banjarmasin City Innovation Competition 2023
Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) is proud again. This is because the team led by ULM Law Faculty lecturer, Lena Hanifah, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D, succeeded in winning 1st place in the 2023 Banjarmasin City Innovation Competition (Komvas) in the Academic Participants category. The Mayor of Banjarmasin, Ibnu Sina, handed over the prizes directly to the winners of the 2023 Komvas Banjarmasin on Tuesday (28/11/2023) at the Ballroom of the Rattan Inn Banjarmasin.
Together with Dr. Pandji Winata Nurikhwan, M.Pd.Ked and Nur Hafidzah, Lena, who is also the Chair of the ULM Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (PPKS) succeeded in winning 1st place through the Innovation of the Site for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence Services in Higher Education.
The Mayor of Banjarmasin, Ibnu Sina, expressed his deep appreciation for the creativity of the city’s innovators. Head of the Research and Development Division of Banjarmasin City Research and Development Bappeda, Ignasius R.P. Salan, S.H., M.H., said that this competition aims to encourage the realization of the city of Banjarmasin as an innovative city.
In the 2023 Komvas event, there are five categories of participants, namely SKPD, ASN, Academics, Teachers/educators, and the general public. This time Komvas 2023 was attended by 67 participants, of which 5 participants will then be selected in each category to advance to the presentation stage. A total of 7 judges were deployed in this activity to assess the proposed innovations. The seven judges include Ir. Atang Sulaeman, M.Si from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN); Jerry Walo, S.Sos, MM BSKDN Ministry of Home Affairs; Muhammad Isaldi Wicaksono, S.IP Ministry of PANRB; Murwany Viviene Antang, B.A., S.E. Lambung Mangkurat University; Dr. Ellyn Normelani, M.Pd., M.S Regional Research and Innovation Agency (BRIDa) South Kalimantan Province; South Kalimantan Creative Forum Sri Hidayah, MSc; Helman Rasyadi BPD Bank Kalsel.
