ULM Inaugurates 564 Civil Servants with Employment Contracts (PPPK): Rector Emphasizes Integrity and Dedication to University Progress
Banjarbaru – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) officially held the oath-taking ceremony for 564 Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the ULM Banjarbaru Auditorium. This sacred ceremony was led by the ULM Rector, marking an important step for the employees in carrying out their mandate as part of the State Civil Apparatus. In his remarks, Rector Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Si., stated that the PPPK inauguration is part of the government’s commitment to encouraging the nation’s sons and daughters who have dedicated themselves to the nation.
“This is a manifestation of the government’s commitment to encouraging the nation’s children to dedicate themselves to the welfare of the nation. Today, we have the certainty to build a better future,” said the Rector.
The Rector emphasized that the status of ASN PPPK should be a driving force to work more innovatively, honestly, responsibly, and demonstrate high dedication in supporting the university’s progress.
“ULM requires seriousness, innovation, and a strong work ethic. We must become an increasingly advanced state university,” he emphasized. The Rector also emphasized the importance of upholding the oath we took. “We are required to consistently maintain state confidentiality. We must not break this oath and tarnish our good name. Today is a promise to the state and to ourselves,” he said.
He emphasized that discipline is the key to achieving good performance. ULM’s PPPK employees are expected to demonstrate loyalty, discipline, sincerity, and honesty, and to work not only to earn a living, but also to seek blessings.
“Work is not about seeking wealth, but about seeking blessings. It is from sincerity and honesty that halal sustenance flows for you and your family,” the Rector added.
Through this oath/pledge, ULM affirms its role as a state university that continues to strengthen human resource management. The PPPK who officially join are expected to have a positive impact on the institution and become part of a productive and professional work ecosystem. The Rector concluded his remarks by urging gratitude and pride in being part of ULM.
“God has given you the opportunity to serve. Therefore, we express our gratitude by dedicating ourselves to delivering our best performance,” he said.
This oath-taking ceremony marks an important milestone for ULM in strengthening the quality of its academic and non-academic services through the presence of new human resources ready to work with integrity and dedication for the advancement of the university and the nation.
