Banjarmasin — The South Kalimantan Regional Police (Polda Kalsel), through the Operations Bureau, conducted a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activity regarding the implementation of the collaboration between the South Kalimantan Police and Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) on Friday (November 21, 2025) in Wasaka Room 1.
This Monev activity is part of the implementation of Regulation of the Chief of the Indonesian National Police Number 12 of 2014 concerning Guidelines for the Preparation of Cooperation between the National Police and ministries, agencies, and non-ministerial institutions. The evaluation was conducted to determine the extent to which the agreed-upon cooperation program is running smoothly and providing benefits to both parties.
The South Kalimantan Regional Police were represented by Taufik Suhardiman, S.Sos., M.M., Ph.D., Head of the PAKATKERMA Sub-Division of the South Kalimantan Regional Police. He stated that this was the initial step to monitor the progress of the MoU.
“This monitoring is the first step to assess the concrete progress of the planned collaboration. We want to ensure that each program is running according to its objectives and has a positive impact on both the institution and the community,” he said.
Meanwhile, Andi Nursalam, ULM’s Coordinator of Cooperation and Public Relations, expressed his hope that the established collaboration will provide sustainable benefits.
“We hope this synergy will not stop at administration, but will also open up opportunities for Polri members to pursue Masters and Doctoral degrees at ULM,” he said.
With this monitoring and evaluation activity, ULM and the South Kalimantan Regional Police are expected to continue developing productive collaboration in various fields that support education, security, and public services.
