Tanah Laut – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) continues its efforts to strengthen national values in education. Through the Master of Management Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), ULM held National Insight Training for Teachers and Educators throughout Tanah Laut Regency at the National Defense Hall, National Unity and Politics Agency (Bakesbangpol) Office in Tanah Laut Regency, Thursday (10/23/2025).

The event, attended by 47 teachers and educators, featured Dr. Hj. Hastin Umi Anisa, S.E., M.M., as the main speaker. Known as an academic active in strategic management and national character issues, Dr. Hastin emphasized the central role of teachers in maintaining the integrity of national values through the educational process in the classroom.

“Teachers are not merely transmitters of knowledge, but also builders of character and guardians of national values. Amidst the rapid flow of globalization, teachers must be at the forefront of instilling a spirit of unity and love of country in the younger generation,” Dr. Hastin stated to the participants.

He also emphasized the importance of reforming educational methods that focus not only on academic aspects but also on instilling moral values, ethics, and a spirit of nationalism. He stated that strengthening character through national-minded education is a crucial foundation for developing superior human resources with integrity.

Participants enthusiastically participated in the presentations and discussion sessions. Various national issues, from strengthening Pancasila values to challenges to national identity in the digital era, provided interesting and relevant topics for educators.

This activity was part of the Community Service program, a collaboration between lecturers and students of the Master of Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business,  Lambung Mangkurat University  (FEB ULM). The implementing team consisted of Megi Nediawan, S.M., as chair, and members Dr. Hj. Hastin Umi Anisa, S.E., M.M., Dr. Roro Yulianti Prihatiningrum, S.E., M.Sc., Dr. Meiske Claudia, S.E., M.M., Dr. Wimbi Wandari, S.E., M.M., Achmad Fauziannor, S.Ak., and Dr. Abdul Latif Aufa Habibie, S.M.
