ULM Sends Four Teams to KMI Expo XVI 2025, an Increase from the Previous Year
Banjarmasin — Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) has once again achieved impressive success in entrepreneurship. According to the announcement letter from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, No. 4179/B2/DT.01.03/2025, dated October 17, 2025, four ULM student entrepreneurial teams have passed the selection to participate in the Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship (KMI) Expo XVI 2025. This achievement is an increase from the previous year, when ULM sent three teams to KMI Expo 2024.
This prestigious national-level competition will be held from November 19–21, 2025, at Tidar University, Magelang City, and will bring together the best student entrepreneurs from various universities throughout Indonesia.
The ULM student teams that successfully qualified for the 2025 KMI Expo XVI are as follows:
- BANJARESE — Lemongrass-Based Natural Mosquito Repellent Spray Innovation from South Kalimantan (Category: Manufacturing and Applied Technology – Initial Stage)
- Hellos Healthy Local Snack (Category: Food and Beverage – Growth Stage)
- HYPERFIT — Digital Fitness Class Services Training Course Consultant Fitness (Category: Services, Tourism, and Trade – Growth Stage)
- SI CANTIC — Handmade with Canvas Plastic (Category: Creative Industries, Arts, and Culture – Growth Stage)
The Head of the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Directorate General of Higher Education, stated that the successful teams will be eligible to participate in the KMI Award series of activities and will have the opportunity to expand their networks and improve their business capacity at the national level.
In addition to the successful participants, other students are also encouraged to continue participating in the KMI Expo through various learning and business networking sessions provided by the national committee.
With the qualification of these four teams, Lambung Mangkurat University further confirms its commitment to supporting the birth of innovative, creative, and competitive young entrepreneurs for the advancement of the region and the nation.
