ULM Holds 127th Graduation Ceremony, Inaugurates 1,300 Graduates from Diploma to Doctoral Degrees
Banjarmasin – The Senate of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) held another Senate meeting to discuss its 127th Graduation Ceremony. The ceremony, held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, officially inaugurated 1,300 ULM graduates based on Rector’s Decree Number 5994/UN8/TU.00.01/2025. In addition to inaugurating thousands of graduates, ULM also recently achieved excellent accreditation for four study programs in the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB).
Rector Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE, M.Si., stated that the graduation ceremony is not merely a ceremony, but a milestone in the alumni’s contribution to regional and national development. “Alhamdulillah, today we inaugurated 1,300 graduates. We hope they will become ULM ambassadors who will bring good name to the university in South Kalimantan and nationally,” he said.
The details of the 127th Graduation Ceremony are as follows:
– Diploma Program: 63 students
– Bachelor’s Program (S1): 791 students
– Professional Program: 242 students
– Master’s Program (S2): 187 students
– Specialist Program: 13 students
– Doctoral Program (S3): 4 students
At this event, ULM also presented awards to the 13 best graduates from various levels of education. They were assessed based on their highest GPA and efficient study period. The following are the names of the best graduates:

Prof. Ahmad also emphasized the importance of educational sustainability. “We encourage graduates to continue their studies to the master’s, doctoral, and beyond levels. Learning at ULM must provide a foundation for broader academic and professional pursuits,” he added.
On the same occasion, the Rector announced the addition of four new professors to ULM, two of whom are from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. “The inauguration will be adjusted based on the readiness of each professor,” he explained.
ULM also received good news from LAMEMBA. Four study programs at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) have achieved national accreditation: three with an Excellent predicate (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Bachelor’s Degree in Management, and Master’s Degree in Management), and one with a Very Good predicate (Doctoral Degree in Management). This accreditation is valid until September 29, 2030. “This achievement demonstrates that the governance, academic quality, and quality of FEB ULM graduates have been recognized nationally. This serves as a barometer that quality assurance at ULM is running optimally,” concluded Prof. Ahmad.
