ULM Holds 126th Graduation Ceremony, Minister of Environment Present as Guest of Honor

Banjarbaru – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) once again made history with its 126th Graduation Ceremony, held at the ULM Banjarbaru Auditorium on Wednesday (September 3, 2025). Based on Rector’s Decree Number 5028/UN8/DT.00.00/2025, ULM inaugurated 1,300 graduates, comprising 1,070 undergraduate programs, 18 professional programs, 201 master’s programs, 2 specialist programs, and 9 doctoral programs.

ULM Rector, Prof. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si., emphasized that this graduation ceremony was not only an academic celebration but also a testament to ULM’s commitment to producing a superior generation ready to compete at the national and global levels.

This graduation ceremony was made even more special by the presence of the Minister of Environment/Head of the Environmental Management Agency, Dr. Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, S.Hut., M.P., was the guest of honor. As an alumnus of the Faculty of Forestry at ULM, Hanif encouraged the graduates to contribute to the national and international arena.

“Everyone has an equal opportunity to contribute to the progress of this country, including ULM alumni. Let’s work together to develop ULM, which has now achieved Unggul (Excellent) accreditation,” he said.

Also present was Dr. Ir. Ariadi Noor, M.Si., Assistant for Economic and Development Affairs of South Kalimantan Province, representing the Governor of South Kalimantan, to express his full support for the ULM graduates.

With the inauguration of these new graduates, ULM affirms its role as a leading university in Kalimantan that continues to contribute to national development through education, research, and community service. This 126th graduation ceremony is a clear demonstration of ULM’s consistency in producing a young generation with integrity, knowledge, and readiness to compete in the workplace and the global arena.
