PG-PAUD ULM Achieves International Recognition, Enters National Top 10 in Early Childhood Education

BANJARMASIN – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) has once again achieved an outstanding accomplishment at both national and international levels. The Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Program (PG-PAUD) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) successfully ranked 9th nationally, 64th in Asia, and 649th globally in the field of Early Childhood Education.

ULM Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE, M.Si, expressed his gratitude for this achievement.

“Alhamdulillah, the PG-PAUD Program at FKIP ULM has gained international recognition by securing the 9th place nationally, 64th in Asia, and 649th globally in Early Childhood Education,” he stated on Wednesday (August 20, 2025).

This achievement is concrete proof of ULM’s consistency in developing research, publications, and innovations in the field of early childhood education, while also reaffirming the university’s commitment to supporting the improvement of education quality in Indonesia.

In addition to strengthening ULM’s reputation as a leading university, this accomplishment also underscores ULM’s contribution in positioning Indonesia in the global education arena—particularly in developing human resources from an early age, which serves as a crucial foundation for achieving Indonesia Emas 2045.

The success of the PG-PAUD FKIP ULM is expected to motivate the entire academic community to continue enhancing the quality of education, research, and community service, enabling ULM to play an even greater role in producing excellent generations with global competitiveness.

The ranking was cited from EduRank, an international university ranking platform that uses quantitative data to assess universities worldwide. The rankings are based on various indicators including academic performance, research productivity, alumni reputation, and other non-academic metrics.
