Attended by a number of leaders such as the Governor of South Kalimantan, the Chief of Police of South Kalimantan, the Head of BINDA, the Head of the BNN of South Kalimantan Province, the DANREM, the DANDIM, and other regional leaders.

The Governor of South Kalimantan Province H. Muhidin who was present in person at this event expressed his pride and gratitude for ULM’s achievements which have now been accredited as Excellent.

“Alhamdulillah today ulun (I) can meet my younger siblings here. And parents are also proud of all ULM students who have received the accreditation predicate of Excellent. Extraordinary, thanks to the senate and the rector who fought for all of this,” said H. Muhidin.

Governor H. Muhidin also advised to always be careful and maintain this superior accreditation predicate in the future, and it must be continuously improved in order to make Banua proud.

The ULM Chancellor on this occasion also conveyed the preparation for opening various new study programs in facilitating the needs of human resources, especially in South Kalimantan in terms of education. This is also an effort to expand quality and sustainable higher education services.

Furthermore, he also still provides an opportunity for students who get cum laude rankings at the end of their education to be able to continue their S2 or S3 education free of UKT fees for 2 (two) semesters and a 50 percent discount in semesters 3 and 4.

“This is in order to increase APK (Gross Participation Rate) and APM (Pure Participation Rate) in South Kalimantan,” he said.

That way, through this policy, it is hoped that it can provide motivation for the younger generation, especially ULM students to study hard and make achievements and invite alumni to continue choosing ULM as a place to get further education.
