ULM’s First Graduation with Excellent Accreditation, Chancellor Expects Competitive Graduates
Banjarmasin – Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) once again inaugurated its graduates in the 123rd Graduation which was held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the ULM Banjarmasin Auditorium. A total of 1,000 graduates from various levels of education were officially inaugurated by the ULM Chancellor through Chancellor’s Decree Number: 638/UN8/SP/2025.
The details of the graduates who graduated consist of:
- Diploma Program: 8 people
- Bachelor’s Program: 884 people
- Professional Education Program: 9 people
- Masters Program: 79 people
- Specialist Program: 20 people
- Doctoral Program: 1 person
The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) was recorded as the largest contributor of graduates, namely 305 graduates.
The 123rd graduation ceremony also served as an award event for outstanding graduates. Here are some of the best graduates announced at the event:
- Best Graduate of the Doctoral Program: Dr. Rudi Siswanto (Agricultural Science), GPA 4.00, study period 4 years.
- Best Graduate of the Masters Program: Evia Salma Zaurida, M.T. (Chemical Engineering), GPA 3.98, study period 1 year 10 months.
- Best Graduate of the Bachelor’s Program: Arneta Meihua Inaya, S.K.M. (Public Health), GPA 3.98, study period 3 years 9 months.
- Best Graduate of the Diploma Program: Nahdiati, A.Md., Ak. (D3 Accounting), GPA 3.66, study period 3 years 3 months.
- Best Graduate of the Professional Program: dr. Ghaitsa Zahira Shofa (Professional Medical Education), GPA 3.76, study period 2 years 5 months.
- Best Graduate of Specialist Program: Dr. Imelda Nita Saputri, Sp.P.D. (Internal Medicine), GPA 3.81, study period 4 years.
- Best Graduate of Teacher Training and Education Faculty: Syifa Aulia, S.Pd. NIM. 2010126220045, Early Childhood Education Study Program, GPA. 3.85, Study Period. 4 Years 0 Months
- Best Graduate of Law Faculty: Rizka Ananda, S.H. NIM. 2110211120053, Law Study Program, GPA. 3.97, Study Period. 3 Years 9 Months
- Best Graduate of Economics and Business Faculty: Aprilia Khalila, S.M. NIM. 2110312320012, Management Study Program, GPA. 3.90, Study Period. 3 Years 9 Months

- Best Graduate of the Faculty of Forestry: Rahmaniah, S.Hut NIM 2110611120018, Forestry Study Program GPA, 3.52 Study Period 3 Years 9 Months
- Best Graduate of the Faculty of Engineering: M. Renald Abdi, S.Kom, NIM 2110817210005, Information Technology Study Program, GPA. 3.93, Study Period 3 Years 9 Months
- Best Graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences: Nur Salsabila, S.Stat., NIM 2111017220012 Statistics Study Program GPA, 3.97 Study Period 3 Years 10 Months
In addition, the best representatives from each faculty also received awards for outstanding academic achievements with competitive achievement indexes and study periods.
This graduation is the first graduation after Lambung Mangkurat University received Excellent accreditation from BAN-PT at the end of April. ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si., hopes that ULM graduates can show that they have the best competencies from a campus that is accredited Excellent.
“We can only be proud of the Excellent label from this accreditation when graduates, aka alumni, can play a role in society through careers that are pursued according to their academic abilities,” said Prof. Ahmad.
Through ULM’s achievement as a university with Excellent accreditation, the Rector hopes that ULM graduates can also become superior people who compete in the workforce.
“Hopefully all alumni can achieve their dreams as part of the Indonesian development community,” he said.
The Rector of ULM in his speech also expressed his appreciation to all graduates for their success in completing their studies, as well as the hope that the graduates can implement their knowledge and skills for the progress of the nation and region.
“This graduation is not the end, but the beginning of your journey of contribution in society. Continue to work, maintain integrity, and bring the good name of your alma mater,” said the Rector in his message.
The 123rd graduation activity reflects ULM’s commitment to producing superior human resources in various fields. With the success of maintaining its position as a national cluster 1 university, ULM continues to target improving the quality of graduates who are ready to compete at the national and international levels.
The event was held solemnly and enthusiastically, witnessed directly by the families of the graduates, the university leadership, and the academic community, and can be accessed online through the official ULM channel.
With the completion of this procession, as many as 1,000 graduates are now officially part of ULM alumni, ready to work and make real contributions in society
