ULM Dentist Oath-Taking Ceremony 27th

Banjarmasin, May 9, 2025 – The Faculty of Dentistry, Lambung Mangkurat University (FKG ULM) held a dentist oath-taking ceremony for Class 27th. This event was held solemnly and broadcasted live via the official FKG ULM YouTube channel, allowing families and relatives of graduates to witness this important moment online.

The dentist oath-taking ceremony is the final stage of the students’ long journey in pursuing dental education. By taking the oath, the graduates officially hold the title of dentist and are committed to carrying out their profession with integrity, professionalism, and high dedication to public health services.

In her remarks, Dean Prof. Dr. drg. Maharani Laillyza Apriasari, Sp.PM emphasized the importance of the role of dentists in the health service system, especially in increasing public awareness of the importance of dental and oral health.

She also appreciated the hard work of the graduates who had successfully completed their studies amidst various challenges. And do not forget to give a message to new dentists to be able to prepare themselves for internships and community service “Please after the oath, immediately complete all internship preparations and prepare yourself to serve,” said Prof. Maharani.

This event was also attended by ULM Rector Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E, M.Si, lecturers, and Director of the Gusti Hasan Aman Dental and Oral Hospital, who gave their congratulations and hopes that the new dentists can continue to learn and contribute positively to the world of health.
