Implementation of UTBK-SNBT 2025, Vice Rector Reminds Participants to Arrive on Time

The Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) of the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) 2025 began at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) today, Wednesday (4/23/2025). The implementation of UTBK-SNBT 2025 at ULM is scheduled until next Wednesday (4/30/2025).

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr., M.Kes., Sp.F., SH., in his interview said that this year ULM has improved various supporting facilities for the implementation of UTBK, such as lockers for storing participants’ belongings.

“We continue to make improvements, including security in the implementation of UTBK-SNBT. We are also trying to prevent cheating by carrying out tighter, closer, but still humane supervision,” said Dr. Iwan.

The UTBK implementation time starts at 7.45 WITA for the morning session, where participants are invited to enter the examination room, followed by checking the participant’s identity/documents, then working on practice questions for 5 minutes. At 8.15 WITA participants start working on UTBK questions until 11.30 WITA.

Meanwhile, the afternoon session of the UTBK implementation starts at 13.30 WITA with the same activity schedule as the morning session. The afternoon session ends at 17.15 WITA.

Each exam participant is expected to arrive a maximum of 30 minutes before the exam is held. This is because participants who arrive late are at risk of not being able to enter the examination room if the exam has started.

“For those who are late (for the exam), there is no additional time,” said Dr. Iwan.

A total of 10,129 UTBK-SNBT participants at ULM took turns taking the exam which was divided into 16 sessions over 8 days, with a total of around 680 participants in each exam session. This exam is for participants who graduated from high school/vocational school/equivalent in 2023, 2024, and class XII students in 2025, as a requirement to enter State Universities (PTN).
