Inauguration of ULM Stage Mini Soccer Field

Banjarmasin – The inauguration of the Mini Soccer of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) named SJA Mini Soccer adds to the list of sports facilities owned by ULM. The activity which was carried out on Wednesday (12/2/2025) was inaugurated directly by the Rector of ULM, Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E, M.Si at the SJA Mini Soccer Field located on Jalan Cendrawasih, Kelurahan Belitung Selatan, Banjarmasin.

The inauguration took place in a ceremony marked by the signing of an inscription and a symbolic kick from the white dot by the Rector of ULM.

“We hope that this will be part of the infrastructure completion program owned by ULM and can also provide benefits to the surrounding community,” said the Rector.

This field was also recognized by the Rector as the first stage mini soccer field in Banjarmasin so that it can be guaranteed to be free from flooding. However, on the other hand, the Rector also added that there are still several supporting facilities that need to be added so that the field meets optimal mini soccer standards.

“The remaining paranet nets above and a little additional sand below still need to be repaired to meet field standards,” added the Rector.

With the presence of new facilities owned by ULM, the Rector hopes that sports activities for students and the community will increase.

“We hope that with this presence it will be part of a program to improve public health through sports activities, especially for the Banjarmasin community and the ULM community,” said the Rector.
