Changes to SOTK, ULM Appoints Vice Rector and Officials within ULM
Banjarmasin – Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Si., inaugurated the Vice Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University and several officials within ULM on Tuesday (21/11/2023) in the Hall of the ULM Banjarmasin Postgraduate Building. This inauguration was carried out in the context of adjusting the organization and work procedures of ULM based on the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 57 of 2023 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of Lambung Mangkurat University.
In this Ministerial Regulation there are changes to the nomenclature and duties of the Vice Rector so that the Rector of ULM Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Si., issued ULM Rector’s Decree No. 1827/UN8/KP/2023 and appointed Dr. Ir. Arief Rahmad Maulana Akbar, M.Si., IPU., as Vice Rector  for Planning, Finance and General Affairs. The Rector  also appointed Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc., as ULM Vice Rector  for Cooperation, Public Relations and Information Systems for the period 2022-2026.
Based on the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Regulation Number 57 of 2023, it also regulates changes to the nomenclature of quality assurance elements for Quality Assurance Institutions to become Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institutions. Based on these regulations, the ULM Rector  issued ULM Rector ‘s Decree Number 1829/UN8/KP/2023 and inaugurated Prof. Agung Nugroho, S.T.P., M.Sc., Ph.D as Head of the Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute and Dr. Arif Sholahuddin, S.Pd., M.Sc., as Secretary of the Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute for the 2023-2027 period.
Furthermore, the Ministerial Regulation also changed what was previously called the ULM Faculty of Medicine to become the ULM Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. In response to this change, the Rector issued Rector’s Decree Number 1818/UN8/KP/2023 and appointed Dr. Dr. Istiana, M.Kes as Dean of the ULM Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for the 2020-2024 period.
The Rector  of ULM also issued Decree Number 1830 to. 1836/UN8/KP/2023 concerning the Appointment of the Head of the Academic Support Unit (UPA) within Lambung Mangkurat University for the period 2023-2027. Based on this decree, in this event the Chancellor appointed 6 officials as heads of UPA within ULM, including:
- Noer Komari, S.Sc., M.Kes., as head of the UPA Library
- Agung Cahyo Legowo, S.T., M.T as Head of UPA Information and Communication Technology
- Jumariati, S.Pd., M.Pd., as Head of UPA Language
- Nat. Liling Triyasmono, S.Farm., as Head of UPA Integrated Laboratory
- Irwansyah, S.Sos., M.Sc., as Head of UPA Career Development and Entrepreneurship
- Maya Amalia, S.T., M.Eng., as Head of UPA Wetland Environment
On this occasion, ULM Rector  Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Si., gave a speech and congratulated the newly appointed officials. He also reminded those who had just been appointed to focus on creating and implementing programs that could encourage the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KI) at ULM.
He also said that in the future he has a target for ULM to maximize its business potential in order to move towards ULM becoming a Legal Entity State University (PTN-BH).
“We are preparing our businesses to go to PTN-BH. “We will speed up the formulation of ULM cooperative management to manage business throughout the ULM environment,” said the Rector  .
In his remarks, the Rector  stated his target that all ULM facilities that have income generating potential can be utilized as soon as possible. He also hopes that the Lambung Mangkurat Medical Center (LMMC), a health clinic facility owned by ULM, can soon be converted into a hospital.
