ULM Banjarbaru Together with the National Police Chief and Regional Police Holds a Health Service, Providing Free Health Services for the Community
Banjarbaru – Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarbaru, was the venue for the Free Health Services at the Health Service Event organized by the National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, together with colleagues from the 1991 Armed Academy of the Republic of Indonesia (AKABRI) alumni class. This social service event was held on Saturday (21/ 10/2023).
In this social service event, the National Police Chief collaborated with the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry, ULM, to provide free health services to 1,340 residents of South Kalimantan. Based on a report by South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Andi Rian R. Djajadi, the services provided included free medical treatment for 1,000 people, mass circumcisions for 100 people, alleviation of stunting for 20 pregnant women and 20 children, and blood donation for 200 people.
Dozens of specialist doctors and other health workers were involved in helping with this social service activity. Apart from South Kalimantan, this social service was also held simultaneously at 7 regional police to reflect the spirit of service of AKABRI 91 which has a positive and real impact on society, especially in terms of health and welfare.
“It is hoped that the spirit and dedication of AKABRI 91 South Kalimantan in health service can be an inspiration for the younger generation to continue to contribute to developing the country and caring for the welfare of the community,” said Inspector General Pol Andi.
