ULM Rector Attends KPTN-KTI Working Meeting, Strengthens Cooperation Between Universities

Makassar – The Consortium of State Universities in the Eastern Region of Indonesia (KPTN-KTI) held a Working Meeting, at the Claro Hotel Makassar on Saturday (21/10/2023). This event was attended by 15 Rector and representatives from various universities in eastern Indonesia.
Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., who also serves as Chair of KPTN-KTI for the 2023-2025 period was also present on this agenda.
KPTN KTI is a joint forum consisting of 46 State Universities in the Eastern Region of Indonesia. This forum is an important forum for higher education leaders to build collaboration, discuss and make joint decisions in order to face various challenges in the field of research development and higher education.
This KPTN-KTI working meeting is a momentum for member universities to build and strengthen cooperation with each other. Collaboration between universities is certainly strengthened both within and outside the region in order to develop research and innovation, increase access to education, and build facilities and infrastructure that support these goals.
By holding the KPTN-KTI Working Meeting, it is hoped that it will be a strategic momentum for universities in the eastern region of Indonesia to build networks, collaborate and improve the quality of education so that they can compete at national and international levels.
