First Day of UTMBK
Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University is holding a 2023 Computer-Based Independent Written Examination (UTMBK) for three pathways, namely the regular pathway, the disability pathway and the Tahfizh pathway (Monday, 10 July 2023). On the first day, only two pathways have started, namely Regular and Disability, while the Tahfizh pathway is scheduled for Wednesday 12 July 2023 with 15 participants. At this year’s ULMBK UTMBK organizers, 4,293 participants registered, consisting of 4,266 regular pathways, 15 Tahfizh pathways and 12 disabled pathways. Furthermore, participants with special needs, who chose 2 people with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) disabilities, 2 people with slow learning, 1 person with Physical Impairment/Physical Motor Impairment, 2 people with Mental Disability/Intellectual Impairment, 2 Blind/Visual Impaired and 2 Deaf/ Hearing Impaired 3 People.
ULM UTMBK locations are spread across ten points, namely the Rectorate, General Building Library, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Teaching and Education, LP3 Building, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences and Faculty of Medicine. UTMBK will last for three days, Monday 10 July 2023 to Wednesday, 12 July 2023. The exam is divided into two sessions, namely session one at 08.00-11.00 WITA and session two at 13.00-16.00 WITA.
The implementation of the exam on the first day as a whole was reported to be running smoothly and in an orderly manner with no problems in the system or network. The committee ensures that the participants have followed the established rules, starting from completing the exam documents, security checks, to following the UTMBK exam tutorial. ULM is committed to holding an independent selection test that is more transparent and free from fraud by coordinating with the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the South Kalimantan Regional Police to take part in overseeing the implementation of this year’s UTMBK. This is in accordance with the direction of the Rector of ULM, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Si through the socialization of ULMBK ULM 2023 preparations on Thursday (6/7/2023) then gave directions to all committees and ULM academics to maintain integrity in implementing UTMBK.
“The implementation of Mandiri ULM certainly gets special attention from the community, moreover ULM is one of the universities that is in great demand,” said the Rector.
