BSI 2023 Entrepreneurial Talent Onboarding, Collaborating with Ulama in the Final Roadshow
Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) hosted the BSI Entrepreneurial Talent On Boarding (TWB) event on Monday (21/3/2023) in the 1st floor hall of the Banjarmasin ULM Rectorate Building. This event was held by Bank Syariah Indonesia and closed the series of TWB roadshows held in several major cities in Indonesia.
This event consisted of a series of activities including an expo for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), an inspiring speech by the Mayor of Banjarmasin and BSI leaders. This event was also filled with a talk show “Young Talented. Young Entrepreneurs” with Ahdiat Zairullah, Third Place in the TWB 2022 Beginner Category and Ahmad Rinaldi, Presma ULM 2021 who is now also a young entrepreneur. Head of the TDA Cooperation Division Arif Rahman and Area Manager Naning Salasatain were also the speakers in this talkshow.
ULM Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. Rusmin Nuryadin, S.E., M.Si was present representing the Rector of ULM to give a speech at this event. Dr. Rusmin expressed his appreciation for organizing this agenda in which BSI involved not only students but also the Mayor of Banjarmasin as a representative from the government component.
With the involvement of various components ranging from companies, academia, to the government, Dr. Rusmin is optimistic that Indonesia can optimize the increase in the number of young entrepreneurs and can realize Indonesia’s golden generation in the coming 2045. ULM itself, conveyed by Dr. Rusmin currently has around 600 students who are active in entrepreneurship. This figure is targeted to increase to 1,000 students this year.
BSI’s Entrepreneurial Talents are a training and award program for young entrepreneurs throughout Indonesia. Through this program, it is hoped that it can create synergies that create an entrepreneurial ecosystem within the campus environment. This socialization event is expected to attract students, especially in South Kalimantan, to compete to become entrepreneurs in a national scale event. In addition, it is also hoped that holding this event can encourage the development of the MSME sector so that it can grow, excel, and be globally competitive.
