ULM and PT Inhutani I Sign MoU on Land Use Collaboration

Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) together with PT Inhutani I signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or Memorandum of Understanding, which took place in the ULM Faculty of Forestry Meeting Room, Banjarbaru on Monday (30/1/2023). The signing was carried out directly by ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., with the President Director of PT Inhutani I Oman Suherman. The signing was witnessed by the Dean of the ULM Faculty of Forestry along with the Deputy Deans and lecturers.

PT Inhutani I is a State-Owned Enterprise engaged in the forestry sector in the form of a Timber Forest Product Utilization Business (IUPHHK) with a working area covering the regions of East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, South and West Sulawesi, as well as an Industrial Unit in Gresik, East Java.

ULM collaborates with PT Inhutani I regarding the Management of Production Land in the context of implementing and developing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. In the future, ULM can utilize production land in order to develop its resources in the fields of education, research, and community service.
