LMMC ULM Receives BPJS Kesehatan Award for Commitment to Digitalization of Services

Banjarbaru — Lambung Mangkurat Medical Center (LMMC) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) achieved a proud achievement by receiving an award for its commitment to implementing P-Care Integrity, Online Queues, and I-Care from the Director of Information Technology of BPJS Kesehatan on Friday (January 30, 2026). This award affirms ULM’s commitment to providing high-quality, digital-based healthcare services with integrity.

The award was given to primary healthcare facilities (FKTP) deemed successful in optimally implementing the BPJS Kesehatan service system. Of the approximately 1,500 FKTPs in BPJS Kesehatan Region 8, South Kalimantan, only 14 received this award. LMMC ULM is the only FKTP owned by a state university (PTN) to receive this recognition.

This award recognizes LMMC’s commitment to supporting the digital transformation of healthcare services. With this award, LMMC is expected to continue improving the quality of its services, developing into a clinic open to all BPJS Kesehatan participants, not just those within the campus.

ULM Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Alim Bachri, SE., M.Sc., expressed his appreciation for the award received by LMMC. He stated that this achievement is something to be proud of for any higher education institution.

“This award from the Director of Technology at the BPJS Kesehatan Center is a proud achievement. Hopefully, in the future, we can continue to improve the quality of healthcare services at LMMC, both for the ULM academic community and the general public,” said the Rector.

As a healthcare unit under Lambung Mangkurat University, LMMC has been deemed successful in implementing a comprehensive electronic medical record (e-medical record). From patient registration and examinations, diagnosis, prescriptions, and medication collection, all services are electronically integrated. This system provides convenience, speed, and transparency of health information for patients.

Head of the LMMC ULM Clinic, Prof. Dr. Eko Suhartono stated that this award motivates him to continue improving the quality of healthcare services.

“Hopefully, this award will further improve LMMC’s services to students, academics, and the community around campus. With an integrated electronic system, patients can receive comprehensive health information, from initial care to referral to a hospital and medication,” he explained.

Currently, LMMC ULM serves the general public and academics registered with BPJS Kesehatan (Social Security Agency for Health), with clinic operating hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time). This achievement further strengthens Lambung Mangkurat University’s role not only as a higher education institution, but also as a healthcare provider that adapts to technological developments and community needs.
