Palangkaraya University Visits ULM Performs Benchmarking

Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) received a visit from Palangkaraya University (UPR) on Friday (07/07/2023). This activity was held in the ULM Senate Room and was attended by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations Dr. Ir. Yusuf.Aziz, M.Sc, Head of Bureau of Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations Drs. Parmasihat, Head of the ULM Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) Prof. Agung Nugroho, S.T.P., M.Sc., Ph.D and LPM Secretary Dr. Adi Rahmadi, S.Hut., M.T, to welcome the UPR group chaired by the Head of the UPR Academic, Student Affairs and Planning Bureau, the Head of the UPR Academic Team, and the UPR LP3MP Secretary.

This visit was carried out in the framework of discussion and comparative study related to the Quality Assurance System and Learning Development at Lambung Mangkurat University and Palangkaraya University. According to the explanation from the head of LPM, Prof. Agung, ULM has approximately 19 excellent study programs which are dominated by study programs in the Faculty of Teaching and Education. During the last 2 years, ULM has been able to significantly increase the capacity of Accreditation for superior study programs. In the near future, ULM will also target itself to get International Accreditation, where the visitation will start from the beginning of September. The target given by the Rector is that each Faculty has at least 1 Study Program with International Accreditation

Prof. Agung also did not forget to express his gratitude for the hospitality that was established during this visit. He hoped that through this activity he could add to the insights of the two Universities regarding the strategies and efforts being made in achieving the increasing target of accreditation of excellent study programs.
