ULM and the Regional Government of Tapin Regency carry out the signing of the MoU

Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) and the Regional Government of Tapin Regency signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or Memorandum of Understanding, which took place at the Tamasa Hall of the Regional Government Office of Banjarmasin Regency Thursday (10/4/2023).

The signing of the MoU was carried out directly by ULM Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alim Bachri, S.E., M.Sc., with the Head of Tapin Regency Drs. H. M. Arifin Arpan, M.M who was also witnessed by the Secretary of the Tapin Regency Council along with all the assistants and expert staff of the Tapin Regency Regent. Vice Rector III for Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. Muhammad Rusmin Nuryadin, S.E., M.Si and ULM Vice Rector IV for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations Dr. Ir. Yusuf Azis, M.Sc., was also present to accompany the Chancellor in the signing of this MoU.

In his remarks, the Rector expressed his deepest gratitude to the Tapin Regency Regional Government which had entrusted collaboration with ULM. This collaborative relationship also supports ULM in its achievement which has been designated as one of the Research and Community Service Institutes with 40 Universities throughout Indonesia as an Independent cluster ULM.

The scope of this Memorandum of Understanding includes 1. Education, 2. Research; 3. Improvement and Development of Human Resources Competency; 4. Training; 5. Community Service; 6. Independent Learning-Independent Campus Program (MBKM); 7. Business Development and 8. Other activities required and mutually agreed upon.

The Rector hopes that the support from the Regional Government will be even more blessed and give progress to ULM in order to educate the best sons and daughters of the nation and the Indonesian people.
