ULM Ensures Smooth and Inclusive First Day of the 2026 Computer-Based Test-Based National Selection

Banjarmasin – Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) officially held the first day of the 2026 Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Tes-Based National Selection on Tuesday (April 21, 2026). As one of the UTBK implementation centers in South Kalimantan, ULM affirmed its commitment to providing a high-quality, transparent, and inclusive selection process.

ULM’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Iwan Aflanie, dr., M.Kes., Sp.F., SH, stated that the first day of implementation went smoothly thanks to thorough preparation.

“Thank God, so far the CBT implementation at ULM has gone well. This is the result of our optimal preparation,” he said.

A total of 645 participants were scheduled for the first session. Of these, 20 participants were absent. In total, 11,358 participants took the CBT at ULM, divided into 18 exam sessions.

As a commitment to inclusive education, ULM also provides special attention to participants with disabilities. There are five participants with disabilities taking the CBT this year, consisting of physically disabled, deaf, and mute. ULM has prepared volunteer companions tailored to each participant’s individual needs to ensure a comfortable and equitable exam process.

“We strive to be a disability-friendly campus. We provide assistance to each participant according to their needs so they can complete the exam optimally,” explained Dr. Iwan.

Furthermore, ULM has implemented various preventative measures to maintain the integrity of the exam process. Intensive coordination with the central committee is carried out to detect potential cheating early, accompanied by strict screening before participants enter the exam room. Participants are also required to store electronic devices in the lockers provided.

To ensure a comfortable exam, activity around the exam location is also controlled. ULM urges all academics to minimize noise around the 24 computer labs used during the CBT.

The CBT for Tes-Based National Selection at ULM is scheduled to run until April 29, 2026, with two sessions each day. Through this program, ULM serves not only as a test location but also as an institution that upholds the principles of fairness, accessibility, and quality in the university entrance selection process.
